You won't be disappointed. I work at a mine and these are very rugged and unbelievably bright. If they can survive this environment they will last a lifetime at home. I think they claim a 2 hour run time. I would guess it is more like half that on the brightest setting which is respectable regardless. We use the strobe feature for checking moving conveyor rollers for wear spots. They project a bright beam that reaches about 1/4 mile in the woods/fields. They work nice.
