I am a CSI and I found this light to be very handy. The green light helps to reveal fingerprints better on items that normally reflect under incandescent light. The laser is great when you want to point out certain things on a crime scene to the other investigators. I will upgrade to the bigger NEBO that also has a flourescent black light. But this is great to have in your pocket though. The battery life is amazing and it's really well made.
