Bought the Fenix L1D and found it spectacular. Inspite of being Chinese make, product is robust, lightweight with good quality accessories (belt pouch, spare tail cap, O rings). Works like a charm even with old AA rechargeable Sony battery (which I had almost retired after 2 years of intensive use as it does not provide enough juice for other devices). The electronic circuitry really works that maintains the brightness of the torch even when batteries are half dead...or on low power. I have used other LED torches before (beam flickers as battery power dims) and regular top brand torches...but can't beat this one for beam quality and portability.
