I've been looking for a spotlight to use in my vehicle that is not rechargeable. They are much lighter and more comfortable to use if you are doing a lot of spotting from a vehicle. The heavier rechargeable lights wear your arm out after a 1/2 hour or so. The only reason I did not give this light 5 stars is because the cord is curled up like a telephone cord and is therefore shorter than it needs to be. A similar light I purchased prior to this one unplugged from the light which can be annoying.
