I use this flashlight in places where many other people have their own as well. Upon comparing with other people's flashlights, this one tends to be brighter than others' (unless they have a really really nice one) and also produces a much nicer white light instead of yellow (thanks to being an LED light). I've been using this one semi-regularly for about a month and a half and the original batteries are still working.
