I first purchased the Duracell Daylite AA and CR123 versions, and was so impressed with their brightness and build-quality that I decided to take a chance on the D version, even though there were no reviews yet.
It arrived yesterday. It works well. Heavy metallic case. The on-off switch seems a little more awkward to use on this than it does on the smaller Daylites. Imho, on a flashlight of this size/weight, it would have been better if it had the on-off switch in the standard position.
I got this double D version for the extra runtime from the bigger batteries. If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably get the version with the double C batteries instead, because it's quite a bit lighter.Get more detail about Duracell Daylite LED Flashlight with 2 D alkaline batteries,.
