Works fine for me. I've had it for almost a year. I agree that the side clip is too tight, but I don't use it anyways. If you need it to not roll, the side clip will function to do that. The swivel is on the chain; the attachment point on the flashlight doesn't swivel. The chain is too long so I looped it onto the key clip; and in so doing, I lost the swivel function. But that hasn't been a problem either. Some of the black has worn off, but I like the worn look. The small size means that I can get it into small spaces. It has given me a very good look under the stove and under the piano. I like that I don't have to hold down a button to keep it on (leaves my hands free). It was too bright for the theatre; I mean it's good but brings too much attention. I haven't had to replace batteries yet, but I don't use the light very often.
