This is a neat flash light, and will serve it's intended purpose well if it is tough enough. That said, I rated it two stars as it did not work at all out of the box. I was about to return it, but then curiosity got the better of me, and I tried to figure out why there was no light. It turned out that one of the rubber sleeves on the battery tubes was out of position and was preventing the end cap from contacting the battery tube. I repositioned the rubber sleeve with a little super glue to hold it in place and it worked fine. Gives good light and is lightweight.
