I have had this same light for 10 years. I got very good occasional usage out of it spotting the river bank a couple hudred feet from my house. Finally kicked the bucket, probably because I let the batery go completely dead. I am happy to be ordering an exact replacement from Amazon after reading about the poor battery performance of similar Spotlights.
